Welcome to the GAHS Horticulture production blog. The purpose of this blog is to share about our learning and the production of plants in our school greenhouse. My name is Ms. Timmons and I am the instructor of the horticulture course. Through this course, students will be applying their prior horticulture knowledge to the success of our school greenhouse operations. Each year students in this course are tasked with the responsibility of growing beautiful spring planters and hanging baskets in our greenhouse for an annual "Spring Plant Sale" at our school. As you follow our blog, most of the posts will be written and uploaded by my students in our horticulture class, as they strive to share their learning and horticulture knowledge with you. They will share updates from our greenhouse production, in addition to providing valuable insight for you, so you can apply your own horticulture skills to your backyard or patio area.
